These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the KAL Driving School student information portal, websites, and related services (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of the Service

The Service supports the operations of KAL Driving School by managing student records, search, training progress, receipts, notifications, and related administrative functions. Features may change, be added, or be removed at any time.

2. Accounts and Access

• The portal is provided to authorized personnel and licensed applicants of the school.
• You are responsible for keeping your username and password confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify the school immediately of any suspected unauthorized use of your account.
• We may suspend or restrict access where we reasonably believe an account has been compromised or misused.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Access the Service or other users' data without authorization, or attempt to bypass security controls.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or degrade the Service (including introducing malware or overloading the system).
• Use the Service to store or transmit unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.
• Scrape, harvest, or bulk-export personal data except as expressly permitted by your role.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with the school.

4. Student Records and Confidentiality

Student records made available through the Service are confidential. You may access and use them only for legitimate school purposes and must handle them in accordance with applicable data protection requirements and our Privacy Policy. Unauthorized disclosure of student information may result in suspension of access and other disciplinary or legal action.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, and logos (including the KAL Driving School name and logo), is owned by or licensed to KAL Driving School and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service without prior written permission.

6. Records and Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we work to keep records accurate and the Service available, we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or complete. For official confirmations, certificates, or inquiries, please contact the school directly through our Contact Us page.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KAL Driving School shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or business opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Service is to stop using it.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice, including for breach of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property and limitation of liability) will survive.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
